TITANKIN

Identity

06Pieces of an identity

This is how we built ours. Six pieces that, together, make a company recognisable anywhere: on a business card, a website or an office door.

Name

I

Titankin

Titan Greek
A giant of myth. The strength that holds up what others cannot.
Kin English
Your own people, family. The closeness of someone who is on your side.

A short name that sounds the same in Spanish and in English and joins the two ideas behind the house: the strength of a giant and the care of your own people.

Symbol

II
Construction of the Titankin symbol: a lintel on a three-fluted column and a base
Lintel
96 × 15
Shaft
3 flutes of 8, spaced 4 apart
Base
48 × 7
Proportion

A column holding up a lintel. It is the T in Titankin, and it is what a good brand does: carry the weight of a business without showing the effort.

A classic serif for what matters, the typeface of documents that get signed. And a clean sans serif for effortless reading, on paper and on screen.

Stationery, website, email signature and signage all come from the same system. So does this website.
