The brief
An Irish pub on Gran Vía in Salamanca: the door is a wooden gate and the bar is down a flight of stairs.
The site had to do what a good bartender does: tell you whether it's open, what's on tap and what to order. And show the place as it is, with its photos, its music and its St Patrick's nights.

What we did
- 01
A living menu
63 beers and 30 whiskies with search, sorting by strength or price and a “what'll it be?” that suggests three based on what you like. The owner checked it before it went live.
- 02
Open or closed, right now
The site knows the opening hours and the time in Madrid: it tells you whether it's open and when it opens or closes today.
- 03
The bar's wall
Photos from their Instagram and from the photographers who've come down the stairs, each credited, plus looping, silent videos of the bar.
- 04
A cookie-free visitor counter
It counts unique visitors each day using an encrypted fingerprint that is deleted after two days. It stores no IP addresses and nothing on the visitor's phone.
